Beth Hickling-Moore

Beth Hickling-Moore is a London-based English translator working from Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. Her work has appeared in reviews and specialized periodicals like Modern Poetry in Translation, Asymptote, Latin American Literature Today, Circumference, and Wasafiri. She was the recipient of the 2025 PEN Grant for the English Translation of Italian Literature. She is currently translating Paulina Chiziane’s novel The Seventh Oath, forthcoming from Archipelago Books; and María Agúndez’s Clean Houses, forthcoming from Manilla Press.
