Biography
Chun Yu 俞淳 is an award-winning bilingual poet (English and Chinese), graphic novelist, and translator. She is the author of the memoir-in-verse Little Green (Simon & Schuster), a recipient of multiple literary awards and honors, and the forthcoming historical graphic novel Ink & Blood (Macmillan). Her work has appeared in POETRY, Orion, Poetry Northwest, and other publications. She is a San Francisco Public Library Laureate and a three-time Pushcart Prize nominee. Her writing explores memory, migration, history, science, spirituality, and the crossings between languages and cultures. She has received numerous international fellowships and residencies and is committed to fostering dialogue across linguistic and artistic traditions. Chun holds a B.S. and M.S. from Peking University and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University, and was a postdoctoral fellow in a Harvard–MIT joint program.
